>> WHAT IS TANDEM SKYDIVING?
Tandem Skydiving is the most popular first jump as it requires a minimal amount of training (less than an hour) while maintaining a high degree of safety. You are attached to the front of your instructor's harness for the entire skydive and parachute ride. Your jump will include up to 70 seconds of freefall followed by a canopy ride that lasts anywhere from 7 to 9 minutes. You will be encouraged to steer the parachute and should you request you may also do flips and turns (steer yourself) in freefall! We highly recommend this method of enjoying your first skydive!

Skydiving offers you the opportunity to live life to its fullest. The Great Lakes Skydiving experience is like no other in Chicago, Madison, or Milwaukee! At Great Lakes Skydiving you will be accompanied on your first skydive by the most enthusiastic skydiving professionals in Great Lakes Region! Tandem Skydiving is the number one choice for first time skydivers. Once you arrive at the dropzone, you will go through a 20-30 minute training class that covers the do's and dont's of tandem skydiving. After you have been fully instructed by one of Great Lakes Skydiving's certififed instructors, you will then board the plane to prepare for your first skydiving experience! We recommend allowing 2-4 hours for the whole experience, as weather delays are not uncommon. Q: Is there an age limit for skydiving?

A: Yes. You must be 18 years of age to partake in any of our skydiving packages.

Q: Is there a weight limit for skydiving?

A: Yes. The weight limit at our facility is 250 lbs.

A: Yes. Still photos and video packages are available upon request.
